Meditation For Chakras ... To Reach Our Inner Self
Meditation for Chakras has become a very enlightening and purposeful means of inner peace, tranquility and good health.
Our spiritual body consists of seven primary energy centers that exist along the spinal column of our body. These are considered our chakras.
These centers, or chakras, start at the genital area, go to our brain and just above the crown of our head. They are based on seven of our major organs and endocrine glands:
1. Root (prostrate/uterus, heart (thymus)
2. Navel (spleen)
3. Solar plexus (liver)
4. Heart
5. Throat (thyroid)
6. Brow (pituitary) and
7. Crown
Meditation for Chakras is to help gain inner harmony with our mental, physical, spiritual and emotional being by getting perfect balance with our Chakras. This is gained through meditation, breath work, physical exercise, good nutrition as well as gaining a new perspective on life.
Not just for our emotional well being, meditation for Chakras is also important for our physical health. By maintaining mental clarity and awareness, emotional stability and spiritual awareness, the energy in our body is in balance, which results in our bodies being in good health.
Keeping our chakras totally aligned and in balance is not something that is done once or twice and then stopped. It's a life-long experience until our death, at which time the life force will leave at the level that was expressed the most in life.
To begin meditation for chakras, there is a lot to learn about our bodies as well as our physical, spiritual and emotional beings and the role they play in our physical good health and inner peace and harmony.
Only when we realize that they all work together can we reach success with meditation for chakras. Many places will work with patients and practitioners towards learning about the art of mediation and the importance of perfect chakras in our body and lives.
Meditation is not something one can just decide to do on their own without any education on the subject. Although it's not very difficult, there are certain things that will make it easier and more relaxing, which is vital for meditation to work.
The practitioner should be lying down or sitting with eyes closed or almost closed - not squeezed tightly shut, but drooping and relaxed.
Do not try to control your breathing, rather letting it relax deep and slow. As you will begin to relax more with your breathing, you will begin to reach and clear your chakras.
As you become familiar with the process and learn to recognize the energy of each chakra, you can allow more clearing of individual energy centers. You will learn to recognize that energy is stuck when you cannot sense or feel the energy in a particular chakra.
Many organizations and facilities with qualified staff offer the chance to help you learn meditation for chakras. You can work on your own to learn this art or work in a group. Many great guided meditation CDs are available, and you'll find one that suits you best if you keep experimenting.
Once you begin, it won't be hard to continue this throughout your life, as the lightness you feel after chakra meditation will sustain you throughout the day.
